From bombs to bracelets:

Elizabeth Suda’s company, Article 22, is named after Article 22 in the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Fittingly her products are the antithesis of the fashion industry’s factory-produced wares.

To make her peaceBOMB bracelets, Suda works with artisans in Laos to collect and melt down metal from bombs dropped by the U.S. during the Vietnam War. In effect, she’s giving Americans (and others) the opportunity to “buy back the bombs.”
